This Is How Stress Causes Acne And Damages Gut Health



Finally a new video! I’m so happy to be back with a little bit of a life and acne update. I’m also sharing a ton of great information on how stress can affect the skin and gut health.

In the video I break down how high cortisol levels (our stress hormone) can cause our skin to break out AND how it deeply affects our other hormones like insulin and testosterone. Two hormones that are known to make our skin (especially on the chin and jawline) very oily, clog our pores and cause acne.

Keep in mind, these are just a few of the ways stress can mess up our skin. I’ll be getting into what else it can do to our hormones and skin in other videos. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this one and as always I hope you find it helpful in your skin care journey. xx
