Healthy Eating: Fresh Beans vs Canned Beans?
Bean is a common name for large plant seeds of several genera of the family Fabaceae (alternately Leguminosae) some of which are used for human food or animal feed.
This food is low in Sodium, and very low in Saturated Fat and Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Protein, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium and Copper, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Folate and Manganese. A few common varieties of beans include; pinto, kidney, black, garbanzo, navy, Lima, green and snap beans. Beans are great for your health, they have: potassium, protein, fiber, folate…… is a great source of protein with vegetarians. It is a incomplete protein, so vegetarians mix it with rice and or vegetables to make it a complete protein. As fresh beans are the better choice….. low in sodium and unprocessed….. so this video will show fresh vs canned and which canned beans are good to eat
