|| COMMAN RULES FOR HEALTHY DIET || IMPORTANCE OF THE DIET FOR HEALTHY LIFE AS PER AYURVEDA ||
Diet plays an important role to maintain health and long living. In ancient Ayurveda scriptures like charak samhita described in detail for the healthy diet and lifestyle. Acharya charak mentioned about the common rules for the diet consumption. He says always eat cooked and hot food. Daily use ghee and oil for the lubrication of the joints and for maintain body structure. Don’t overeat because it causes serious digestive problems which leads to dangerous diseases. Eat only after the digestion of previous taken food. Don’t eat viruddha aahaar at the same time because it vitiate the blood and causes skin diseases. Eat at neat and clean place which gives you calmness of mind which is necessary for the proper digestion. Don’t eat too fast as well as don’t eat to slow. Don’t talk while eating. Don’t laugh while eating. Don’t eat the food which is not suitable for your prakruti(constitute). Don’t eat the food which aggravate your disease condition. If you follow the above conditions while taking food the more chances you can live healthy life. Here we have tried to elaborate all these rules in layman’s language so that common people can adopt it and apply in their daily routine for the betterment of their health.
