Bacteria to lose weight – Truthloader Investigates

Scientists at the Catholic University of Louvain, in Belgium, have found that a naturally occuring stomach bacteria can cause huge weight loss in overweight mice. The bug is called Akamansia muciniphila, and levels of it naturally drop off in the intestines of overweight people. By topping it up, scientists hope to be able to “cure” obesity and prevent type-2 diabetes.
